Chiiirp! Birrrt! Purrrrrrrr!

Once again, we've had a database hiccup. I would like to offer a few do's and don'ts.

Do:

1 - File a ticket for any lost roos. This is a good time to remind you to make note of your roo ID numbers as soon as you get them.

2 - Be patient.

3 - Check the website for any updates.

4 - Watch group chat for announcements from the CSRs.

Don't:

1 - Don't paste the message in both in world groups. The powers that be are aware of what's going on. Repeatedly spamming the group only makes other messages get lost.

I just been spammed terribly by my hud, that the db was down.. and then lost 2 meeroos. Wrote down the nrs..logged a ticket. So far so good. (well..good..maybe a but too much database erros..but ok.. as last days I got messages all the time "cant connect to db":)

But. While writing the ticket, I was wondering. What if I am not here? I am leaving town thursday, for 4 days. I pass IMs to email. Yet. I am not sure if these messages are being passed to mail PLUS sl isnt allways as accurate.
and then there is the capped messages thing, for those who dont even pass their IMs to mail.

Food Isue/Starving

When i came online today my stump of autumn roos that were eating from my partners bowl of food that had been set to fellowship yesterday were Starving!! The food bowl was no longer on fellowship and it had been changed back to fellowship 3 seperate times and still went back to owner only. I won't completely rule out user error or lag. has this happened to others?

In the midst of conversation with a friend we were discussing the act of setting nests in a row and then coaxing them to have a race to the home stump...then we had a thought...Meeroo race tracks! Something they could be set on and then triggered to run around, most likely one lap and the winning meeroo maybe wins a small amount of personal regard or a treasure for the owner. Also meeroo mazes. test the intellect of your fuzzball same principle applies they all start at a central location and have to find their way out.

fellowship question..

how do I access my fellowships website? and is there a way other people can add people to my fellowship or add themselves otehr than by personal invite by the fellowship creator?

I'm not sure if I'm just noticing this but when I go to the 'roos page the section listing offspring is missing.

Is this a glitch or has this information been taken down and I'm just now noticing?

Any news on genetics?

If anyone has any URLs to blogs that are posting info on how this is going, I'd love to see those posted.

I'm not really good at the on-the-ground element of figuring this out, but I'm really interested in reading people's findings on this topic.

I'm trying to figure out how many "alleles" or data points each Meeroo inherits from each parent, and thus how many each Meeroo carries. This seems to be an important factor in figuring out which traits or dominant or recessive... and sorting out what traits each Meeroo might be "hiding" in their data.

I can't get my meeroo out of his nest, it says "No homes close enough for the baby to find, please move the nest and try again!" :( any help? thanks
