So with all griping and moaning aside...

I'm trying to create a chart of my Meeroos and the traits that seem to appear/disappear and or get passed along the lines. And I'd like to find out how best to go about trying to do this. Should I start with one 2nd gen breeding pair and breed them as long as I can while recording the offspring and then begin again with breeding those offspring? Example being:

2MIrDuAgToy + 2FLuDuShyAvg = 3FOrcDuShyMed, 3FOrcDuAgSm

and just continue along with that seeing all the possibilities. At the same time repeating the process with another pair. Then with all the babies made from that begin pairing those off..so on and so forth on down the generation lines? I've read and re-read the information on the Mendelian Inheritance Laws and it makes sense so far, but I just wonder if I'm putting it into action properly.
