I am not sure where to begin and dont want this to come off as a rant, so please bear with me.

I had 20+ roos all go missing on me the other day. All that was left were empty stumps, a food dish and this message a bunch of times when I logged in:

The Second Life Asset server created a duplicate Meeroo #######.
This extra one is being released to the wild.

Ok, first off, MeerooSupport was a wonderful help and spent a long time with me digging them all back into being, so kudos for that, no complaints about the service.

BUT, that said, I think it is a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE idea that roos can just vanish. I am often capped, it might have taken me time to spot the missing ones had it happened in the general population and not all in one sim in a sales area.

I know that it was a bit of this and that that caused the problem, funky database, bad sl day, the perfect storm, and I know lots of other people lost babies. I would like to propose that ANY roo that is "going to the wild" for ANY reason at all have to leave something behind. Call it a lump of coal, a goodbye note/scroll, something(!). And that that item have the ID number of the roo and the reason for its disappearance.

This would make it simpler for ME to see that something happened, and where and what. It would ALSO make it easier on the CSRs as they currently need to go to the stump of the missing roo and call it back. I have a good 50 stumps in my breeding area (each of my couples has their own stump so i can keep track). Thankfully none of the missing ones were from this area or poor MeerooSupport might have had to stay the night to figure out how to call them back. The missing ones all came from four stumps so I was able to pull them together and make his life easier. Had there been some sort of token left behind, the whole process would have been made MUCH more straightforward.

Perhaps the whistle (whatever that is and whenever we get it) will make this more seamless, but, whether we have it or not, i do NOT like the idea of my roos just up and vanishing on me without a trace!

PLEASE PLEASE ADD SOME SORT OF TOKEN SO THAT ROOS DONT JUST VANISH LIKE CHILDREN ON MILK CARTONS!
