I think I have come across something strange. This pair of roos has been together since the day they were coaxed. The girl is shy and the boy is friendly.

They both mate at the same time, therefore should come back into whatever point in the breeding cycle when they are able to breed.

Now this is what I don't understand. The girl is already back in season, and in peak. The boy is still saying "too soon."

How is that possible if they both bred on the last nest at the same time?
