What if there was a fee for support ?
Here is my idea,
For every MS product you buy you get a limited number of free support tickets.
Say 1, 3, or 6. But after the "free" were used up you had to pay a fee such as 50L, 250, or 500L.
With the exception that all issue resulting from MS side would be free and all natural disasters - such as SL glitches and griefers etc, things beyond your control. Also the rule would be that when in doubt, it would be free.
Things that cause fees after the frees would be like detaching roos, etc.
I just think this would do so much for the support system. Think of how much it would clear up the pipes. Then the CSR would have more time and attention to give to tickets resulting in better care.
I mean, where did they idea the limitless support, with a no fault, endless warranty came with breedables? And No breedable company could ever hire enough qualified trustable CSRs to handle the masses of customers. Just because of the sheer level of trust involved that the company has to give the CSR.
Just why do we expect it? Think about How many designers on SL say " I don't fix what you break, I have enough of my own problems.. etc"
Now, Im sure this wont be a popular idea. But just think of what it would do for the level of care. Besides I'm just really in to people doing for themselves, and well paying for your own little self made mistakes after a few freebies falls in that category.
Now when you are opposing this idea, please try to go beyond the fact that there are those who can't afford to pay for support. oh :)
